The final week of Season 7 challenges is putting the focus on combat, with challenges centered around using certain weapons and items on the battlefield. As such, Week 10 will likely be one of the more difficult weeks to complete, but our guide should help you through the final set of challenges without a hitch.
Fortnite: Season 7 Week 10 Challenge Guide
Place a Mounted Turret or Damage Trap in different matches (3)
While the challenge itself is straightforward, the hardest part will probably be finding these particular items. Turrets and Damage Traps have high spawn rates in Supply Drops or Loot Llamas. We recommend hopping into a Team Rumble match, where these items are plentiful, and searching drops until you find one. It shouldn’t be hard; you’ll likely be able to find one of either item in a single match. Once you’ve placed 3 in different matches, this challenge is all set.
Search Chests at Lazy Links or Dusty Divot (7)
A familiar challenge, this one has you searching chests at either Dusty Divot or Lazy Links. Both tend to be pretty high traffic areas, so it’ll probably take a couple tries before you’re able to open all 7 chests and complete the challenge.
Eliminate opponents with Assault Rifles (3)
Grab your favorite rifle and take out 3 enemies to finish this one. As with all elimination challenges, this one should be pretty easy to complete in a match of Team Rumble. You’ll be able to respawn and enemies are plentiful, so you should be able to get this one done in no time at all.
Deal damage with Scoped weapons to opponents (200)
This is one of the week’s trickier challenges. It doesn’t matter what weapon you use to complete it, so long as it has a scope of some kind. We had the most luck with the Scoped Assault Rifle, but you could also use a Scoped Revolver or some type of sniper rifle as well. As with other elimination or damage based challenge types, we recommend complete this one in a match of Team Rumble.
Shooting Gallery challenge
This is a multi-stage challenge that has you visiting shooting gallerys scattered around certain map locations. Simply knock out five targets in a row at each gallery and you’ll be all set. Here’s all three stages of the challenge.
- Get a score of 5 or more at the shooting gallery east of Wailing Woods.
- Get a score of 5 or more at the shooting gallery north of Retail Row.
- Get a score of 5 or more at the shooting gallery east of Paradise Palms.
If you’re having trouble finding their specific locations, here they are on the map:
Visit Expedition Outposts in a single match (4)
This challenge can be a bit difficult to get done, as you’ll have to cover a lot of ground to complete it. You can visit any four of the red Expedition Outposts to get it done. Oftentimes, the outposts spawn with a few planes on a nearby runway. We recommend dropping in at an outpost, hopping in a nearby plane (if possible) and then flying to the remaining three outposts. Flying low over the outposts is enough to mark them as “visited” and you should be able to get this challenge done with relatively little fuss.
Hit an opponent with a Chiller Grenade or Boogie Bomb in different matches (3)
While most returning players are familiar with Boogie Bombs, Chiller Grenades are new Season 7 items. A common drop, they take the form of a snowman-shaped grenade. All you need to do is hit three opponents with either item to finish off this challenge. Again, we recommend taking this one on in a match of Team Rumble.
That concludes the weekly challenges for Season 7. Check back in a few weeks for Season 8’s challenges, once we see what the mysterious Prisoner has in store for the world of Fortnite.
